Eunbi Hwang / TV : Could you live without it? / Wed 11 am.

Approaching the meaning of "living without TV" as there is no TV appliance for me, I can live without it because I don't depend on TV that much. I prefer meeting face-to-face with my friends and talking through a cell phone to watching television. Watching funny TV shows relieves stress but we cannot communicate with others through this "one way" communication medium. It's not my style because I love meeting many people and chatting through Kakao Talk - mobile messenger application used on smart phones. In refreshing and recharging energy, doing those things are much more effective for me. Naturally, as a person who has heavy load of work and limited leisure time I scarcely watch TV. Some people wonder if I take part in the conversation well because people share interests by talking about popular TV programs such as "Gag Concert". However, it's not a problem for me because I can keep up with them by reviewing programs through the Internet. Since I feel no discomfort at all it's easy for me to live without TV.

  1. What i like this paragraph is a certain attitude of writer to the TV. I can know that writer can live without TV and the reason. And i agree the TV is simplex transmition(I found this term in the internet). But I can not understand the sentence - In refreshing and recharging energy,
~for me. Is that mean chatting or meeting some people are more effective that watching TV? or
some other things? It looks little confused.

  2. Your writing appears your opinion firmly and strongly, so it was easy and exact to know what you are trying to say. Also I agree with your idea "but we cannot communicate with others through this "one way" communication medium.". However, in my opinion, the sentence "Naturally, as a person who has heavy load of work and limited leisure time I scarcely watch TV." seems to be not fitting well with your main idea of your writing. If you modify a bit, I think your writing could be better.

Naturally, as a person who has heavy load of work and limited leisure time I scarcely watch TV. If I had enough time, I might watch TV. However, doing my works is handful for me.
