Ka-Yeong Kim / TV : Could you live without it? / Wed 11 a.m.

I probably cannot live without TV. Now, in my room, I don't have TV cause it's just rented studio. However, sometimes I download some programs using my laptop and watch that. Many Koreans mention TV as 'stupid box', which makes us lazy, unthinkable. But my opinion is different. We can learn lots of common sense from documentary, talk shows and so on. Even in soap opera, we can recall many instructive things because they choose topics around daily life. So I can find some similarity with me and get lessons. And we cannot live only with letters. We need something active, live. Moreover, technology has developed swiftly so that makes us watch in everywhere, at every time. I cannot imagine the life without TV, although other media like internet broadcasting are invented.

  1. what I like about this writing is it says we can't live without TV. because many other writings say we can live, this writing seems unique. your main point seems to be that TV has many positive function and other medias can't replace the TV perfectly. I like the line 'So I can find some similarity with me and get lessons.' because I become sympathize with this. I also like the last line because it shows your opinion well. thank you
