My youngest cousin, Dohyun is only four years old. Even though I have four cute cousins who are younger than me, I love him most. I love him because he is a smiling boy. His smile has a strong power that makes others smile too. For example, when he visits my home, Dohyun always says hello to me first with a big smile. I do feel happy with his pleasant greeting. And when someone shows a sign of admonishing him, he deflects blowing-up by making his eyes to scolder. If he smiles at someone, no one can scold him severely. I like him a lot due to his expressive face. He walks around every nook and corner in my home and finds new things. Finding something, like a trophy my brother newly got, a signboard my father made, a picture of insects, he is busy with catching and asking me what that is. He has a expressive face when he approaches me to give a question, I really like that cute look. I am looking forward to seeing his smile and cute face again.
I envy you becuse my cousins are all grown up. They are not cute anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think you did a great job describing his personality and especially his smile but there is one sentence I don't quite understand. The sentence is "he deflects blowing-up by making his eyes to scolder." I think this sentence is littlie bit unclear. It would be better if you explain how he makes his eyes to the scolder.
What I like about your writing is that you add title 'smiling boy' and examples. I can imagine how cute your cousin and make you happy. I agree with former comment. I want more clear expaination.

I love him because he has very nice smile. His smile has a strong power that makes others smile too. For example, when he visits my home, Dohyun always says hello to me first with a big smile. I do feel happy with his pleasant greeting. And when someone shows a sign of admonishing him, he make the scolder stop blowing him up by holding the scolder's hands and smiling with his eyes. Therefore, if he smiles at someone, no one can scold him severely. I like him a lot due to his expressive face. He walks around every nook and corner in my home and finds new things.
