| Our living room may be small, but it is tidy and well organized. On the right, there is a wooden bookcase with four shelves. On the top of the bookcase is a small lamp with a blue base and a matching lampshade. The first and third shelves are filled with carefully arranged books. On the second shelf, there is an antique clock with faded numburs on its face. The bottom shelf has a few newspapers. On the opposite side of the room is a television set with noting on top of it. Between the television and the bookcase is a large sofa. Directly in front of the sofa, there is a long table with short leg. On the right side of this table lie two magazines. They are stacked one on top of the other. Perhaps the most striking item in the room is the the wonderful calligraphic work above the sofa. This extraordinary calligraphic work looks antique. Although it is a small room, everything in our living room is in its place. |

ReplyDeletewhat I like about this writing is it describe details of the living room well. Also it shows your living room virtually well. However I think it would be better if you add other seneses like auditory or smell like cooking smell, TV sound or etc.

When I sit on the sofa, and my mother is cooking at kitchen, I can smell something to cook. Sometimes, I can hear the sound of TV as TV is turned on.
